Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ED - Emergency Department assignment in Naperville, Illinois. This 8-week travel role offers 36 hours a week with 12-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM–3:00 AM), starting 10/25/2026, with the possibility of extension depending on needs and assignment. Location: Naperville, IL.

Candidates should hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPR, and Epic experience, plus an active ER RN license and at least 2 years of ER nursing. Preferred: 4+ years.

Qualifications

• ER RN with 2+ years of ER experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS.
• Active RN license in IL or eligible.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Deliver patient-centered care across various emergency situations.
• Collaborate with ER team to follow department protocols.
• Participate in shift-based 12-hour evening schedules.
