Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Clinic RN for a 16-week travel assignment in Nantucket, MA. The RN will provide outpatient care, work with physicians and staff, and ensure safe, compassionate services in a busy clinic.

The role requires 1 year of clinic/outpatient RN experience, a current BLS certification, and eligibility for state licensure. Excellent teamwork and organizational skills are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience in Clinic or Outpatient
• Current BLS certification
• Eligible for State licensure

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, vital signs, and assessments
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered
• Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Perform wound care and basic lab work, including specimen collection
• Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to providers
• Document nursing care and patient interactions accurately
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and well-stocked
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations
• Support patient scheduling and administrative duties as needed
