Job summary

Alice Walk is seeking a Sales Associate for our Nantucket store. You’ll greet customers, share expert product knowledge, and provide personalized styling while supporting inventory, merchandising, and events. The role involves collaboration with the Store Manager and marketing team to grow the brand locally.

We value energetic, reliable individuals who can multitask, adapt to busy periods, and assist with opening/closing. Prior retail experience is preferred, and a passion for fashion is a plus.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
• Self-motivated, energetic, reliable, flexible and professional.
• Comfortable learning and navigating multiple software systems and communicating on the phone.
• Willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift approximately 30 lb occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand ambassador for Alice Walk in Nantucket by building relationships with customers and community.
• Greet and assist customers on the sales floor in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.
• Drive sales through product knowledge, merchandising, and personalized style guidance.
• Assist in store merchandising to keep displays fresh and well organized.
• Help with inventory management and stock checks; keep tracking systems accurate.
• Maintain a clean sales floor and organized backroom; ensure clothing is neatly displayed.
• Support setup and organization of in-store events and act as a friendly ambassador to partner brands.
• Collaborate with HQ marketing to create in-store content (photos & videos) for social media/email.
• Assist with opening/closing and other key holder duties when needed.
