Job summary

The Registered Echo Tech at Nantucket Cottage Hospital performs quality echocardiographic studies and non-invasive cardiac procedures, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure exceptional patient care.

Per diem on Nantucket Island, day and evening shifts may be required. RDCS or RCS certification, 2 years of current experience, and BLS/CPR within one week of hire are required; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires excellence in echocardiography and integrity in care.
• Meets accreditation requirements and professional standards.
• Two years of current echocardiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality echocardiographic studies and Doppler exams.
• Assist physicians with non-invasive cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient documentation and scheduling as required.
