Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Teaneck is seeking dedicated Babysitters to provide compassionate, in-home care for children. You will supervise, help with meals, dressing, hygiene, and age-appropriate activities while ensuring safety and a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized children’s area, following family routines, offering companionship, and communicating daily updates to parents about activities, needs, and any concerns. Flexibility in scheduling is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of prior professional experience.
• Driver's license required.
• CPR certification preferred.

• Supervise children at all times and ensure their safety and well-being.
• Assist children with daily activities, including meals, snacks, dressing, hygiene, and other age-appropriate needs.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for children as instructed by the family.

• Help maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning up after the children, organizing toys, and keeping children's areas tidy.
• Follow the parents' instructions regarding routines, schedules, and household rules.
• Provide companionship and encourage positive social and emotional development through conversation and interactive activities.
• Communicate with parents regarding the children's daily activities, behavior, needs, and any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain a consistent and safe routine for the children while in their care.
