Job summary

Wellthy Care Network is seeking a warm, dependable part-time nanny in Washington, DC 20001 to care for three children ages ~6 months, ~2.5 years, and ~4 years. The role runs Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–7:00 PM with a flexible start date in September.

• Engage in age-appropriate play and activities.
• Overlap with parents at the end of the shift for evening transition.

Job description

A family in Washington, DC 20001 is seeking a warm, dependable, and experienced part-time nanny to care for their three young children, ages ~6 months, ~2.5 years old, and ~4 years old. This is a long-term position for someone who enjoys working with young children while helping keep the household running smoothly during the afternoon and early evening.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–7:00 PM
• Start Date: September (possibility of earlier or later start date. Timing is somewhat flexible late August-early November).

Family Specifications:

Responsibilities:

• Arrive at 3:00 PM to assist with children's laundry, toy organization, and light tidying
• Walk to pick up the children from school/daycare (schools are within a 5–10 minute walk)
• Provide attentive care for all three children
• Prepare light meals and snacks
• Engage the children in age-appropriate play and activities
• Overlap with parents at the end of the shift to help with the evening transition

Requirements:

• Experience caring for infants and young children
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified
• Strong English communication skills (Spanish or French speakers are also welcomed)
• Dependable, nurturing, and organized
• Comfortable managing the routines of multiple young children

Compensation:

• $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
