Smart Sitting, a nanny agency based in New York City, also services Jersey City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago, and other cities across the United States. We offer personalized support throughout your time in our network, matching you with ideal families and childcare positions, and advocating for sustainable jobs with competitive pay.

We are always looking for enthusiastic, creative, and driven babysitters and nannies to join our network. Currently, we are placing for flexible, part-time, and full-time nanny positions in New York (Manhattan and Brooklyn) and New Jersey (Jersey City and Hoboken). We also have flexible positions in Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Nassau County Long Island, Westchester County, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Rates for part-time and full-time roles range from $25-35+ per hour, and flexible positions pay $20-25+ per hour.

As a caregiver with Smart Sitting, you will be matched with employers who share our core values, appreciate open communication, and support legal employment, helping to advance the nannying profession. With 13 years of experience, we look forward to working with more bright and creative caregivers and expanding our community.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent professional experience working with children, ideally including in-home childcare with a consistent, long-term schedule.
• At least 2, preferably 3, strong references from recent childcare-related positions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A demonstrated passion for working with children.
• Problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and comfort in open communication.
• A family-friendly social media presence.
• Availability to work with Smart Sitting for at least 6 months.
