Job summary

The Nanny Poppins Agency in Medford, MA is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny for a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old. You will provide attentive care, manage mealtimes, naps, and age-appropriate activities, and assist with light household tasks for the children.

The role requires energy, reliability, and the ability to handle both children during school breaks. Valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification are required, along with COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.

Job description

Location: Medford, MA
Compensation: $31–35/hour
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; Wednesday, Friday 9:00 AM–4:15 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Overview
Join a warm Medford household as a full-time, long-term Nanny for a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old. This family sees their Nanny as a true partner in raising their children and an important part of their village. While the older child is in school, the weekday rhythm follows the toddler: mealtimes, a morning and an afternoon nap, and plenty of engaging, play-based time together. The ideal candidate is upbeat, nurturing, and physically able to keep up with a big, busy toddler, and is comfortable caring for both siblings on school breaks and days off.

Responsibilities:

• Attentive full-day toddler care, including feedings, naps, diapering, and developmental play
• Daily school pickup
• Care and activities for both children in the afternoons and on school vacation days
• Light household tasks related to the children, including laundry, running the dishwasher, organizing and rotating toys, and preparing meals

Requirements:

• Energetic and comfortable lifting a large, active toddler
• Montessori knowledge is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations
• Reliable and flexible
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
