Village Staffing is helping a warm Upper East Side family find an exceptional full-time nanny to care for their two daughters, ages 5 and 3. The role requires a proactive, experienced professional who loves child development and creating meaningful daily experiences.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 11 AM – 7 PM, with 45‑50 hours guaranteed per week. Compensation is $35–$40 per hour based on experience, with July and August in the Hamptons; a valid driver’s license and strong boundaries are expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience caring for multiple young children in private homes.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development.
• Confident leading structured, engaging activities and play.
• Warm, energetic, and playful while maintaining consistency and boundaries.
• Proactive, organized, and able to take initiative independently.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for two young children
• Plan age-appropriate activities that support learning, creativity, and development
• Lead imaginative play (dress-up, music, dance, arts & crafts, games)
• Support confidence, independence, and social-emotional growth
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Drive children to and from school, activities, and appointments as needed
• Handle children’s laundry and spot-treat clothing as needed
• Keep children’s areas tidy and assist with light child-related housekeeping
• Act as a trusted partner to mom by staying organized, proactive, and anticipating needs
• Remain fully engaged and present throughout the day
