Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks a Senior NALCOMIS Virtualization Manager to lead enterprise VE hosting for NALCOMIS/OOMA/OIMA and NIWC directed VMs. You will own virtualization strategy, configuration, availability, and security posture, interfacing with NIWC, NTWL, squadrons, SA/DBAs.

You will guide design, deployment, and governance of VE environments, ensuring compliance with DoD requirements and coordinating with stakeholders across Navy/DoD partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Systems Engineering or related field.
• DoD 8570/8140: IAT II/III baseline (Security+ CE minimum; CISSP/CASP+ preferred).
• 8+ years IT experience including 5+ years in enterprise virtualization.
• 5+ years in senior/lead technical leadership roles.
• Experience with NALCOMIS/OOMA/OIMA or NTCSS preferred.
• Experience deploying enterprise EDR (CrowdStrike, Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne).
• Strong automation skills with Ansible, PowerShell DSC, Python or Bash.
• Ability to travel; US Citizenship and security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, config and lifecycle management of VE hosting NALCOMIS/OOMA/OIMA and NIWC-directed VMs.
• Ensure full functionality, availability, and recoverability per NIWC guidance.
• Provide console-level access and advanced virtualization config for secure environments.
• Plan and execute software, cybersecurity, and DAP updates on NIWC releases.
• Oversee vulnerability remediation and DoD/NIWC compliance reporting.
• Develop VE architecture docs, SOPs, and DR/contingency plans.
• Mentor VE staff and lead technical training across supported orgs.
• Contribute to incident response and root-cause analysis for VE issues.
