Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts in Dallas, TX is seeking a spa nail technician to deliver guest-focused nail services and maintain accurate client intake records within our Crescent Court Spa. You will greet guests, tailor treatments from intake forms, document notes in our spa computer system, uphold confidentiality, and promote wellness benefits while ensuring a clean, professional nail station.

Availability on Mondays and Tuesdays (mornings/evenings) is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed cosmetology or nail tech in the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of latest esthetic industry techniques, equipment, services, and products.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and members professionally.
• Select spa nail treatments after reviewing the client intake form.
• Perform nail services within the scope of training and protocols.
• Complete accurate and legible client intake notes.
• Create an excellent experience for guests through therapeutic touch and friendly attitude.
• Promote health and wellness benefits of spa treatments and recommend frequency of services.
• Safeguard client information and confidentiality.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients.
• Keep nail stations clean and wear a pressed uniform.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available regularly.

Overview

Responsible for performing nail service for guests and members of the Spa. Responsible for communicating and transcribing all information regarding guest medical history, services performed, skin analysis and product recommendations into the Spa Computer System.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests and members in a professional, friendly manner.
• Select the appropriate spa nail treatments based on the client's needs after reviewing the client intake form with each guest.
• Perform nail services within the scope of training and utilizing appropriate protocols.
• Complete accurate and legible client intake notes.
• Create an excellent experience for guests and members through a therapeutic touch and friendly attitude.
• Promote the health and wellness benefits of spa treatments specific to each client and recommend frequency of services.
• Safeguard client information and confidentiality.
• Execute professional boundaries and do not engage in dual relationships with clients.
• Maintain a professional clean appearance of self and clinic by wearing a clean and pressed uniform, and keeping the nail stations clean.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Current state cosmetology or nail technician's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of the latest esthetic industry techniques, equipment, services, and products.
• Willing to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
• Customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, clinic management, fellow therapists, and sales staff.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push carts up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Good dexterity in fingers, wrists, and hands with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand and move throughout spa and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
