Job summary

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, TX seeks a skilled nail technician to provide high quality nail salon services to members and guests while upholding spa protocols and exceptional guest care. You will be part of a welcoming team that values professionalism, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

You will work with a professional spa team, attend required trainings, and actively promote spa treatments and retail.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Must be a certified and licensed nail technician in Texas.
• Must have full weekend availability (Thu–Sun).
• Must perform professionally under pressure.
• Must have prior nail technician experience.
• Must tolerate bending, stooping and lifting of moderate weight.

• Provide high quality nail salon services to members and guests per spa protocols.
• Report to work on time in a clean, pressed uniform.
• Maintain cordial, efficient, and professional guest interactions to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a cooperative, team-based attitude with management and associates.

• Attend required training classes and team meetings outside spa hours.
• Assist in all spa areas as requested by management.
• Adhere to all policies and maintain sanitation/sterilization standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality nail salon services to members and guests in accordance with spa protocols.
• Report to work on time in a properly cleaned and pressed uniform.
• Perform all guest activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner, at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with management and fellow associates in all Omni departments.
• Maintain a professional relationship with clients of Mokara Spa.
• Adhere to all standard policies and procedures.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
• Keep work area tidy and stocked with sufficient supplies for a full day of operation.
• Properly care for equipment and implements and tools and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all nail services and products while educating and training guests in these area.
• Perform all services for which training has been received in the allotted period and without personal interpretation of the treatment application.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
• Attend Omni required training classes and team meetings outside of Spa open hours.
• Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
• Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Must be a certified and licensed nail technician in the State of Texas.
• Must have full weekend availability, Thursday through Sunday.
• Must be able to perform in a professional manner under pressure.
• Must have previous experience as a nail technician.
• Understand that the job may require bending, stooping, and lifting of materials of moderate weight.
