Job summary

Summit Hair & Spa LLC in Summit, New Jersey seeks a skilled Nail Technician to provide manicures, pedicures, gel and acrylic nails, nail art, and related treatments to clients. You will assess client needs, recommend products and services, and maintain a clean workspace while upholding high sanitation standards in a busy salon.

Experience with current nail trends and excellent service skills are preferred; licensure or certification is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a manicurist or nail technician.
• Skilled in gel manicures, acrylics, and nail art.
• Up-to-date on latest trends in cosmetology and sanitation standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate each client's nails and recommend nail care and treatment.
• Perform manicures, pedicures, and apply gel or acrylic nails.
• Apply nail art and finishes to enhance client styling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace.
• Provide hand and foot massages when appropriate.
