Job summary

Frenchies Modern Nail Salon is hiring a licensed nail technician to join our vibrant, toxin-free studio in Santa Barbara. You’ll deliver high-quality manicures and pedicures while engaging guests and promoting our membership program and retail products.

We offer a transparent compensation structure with hourly pay plus bonuses and tips, full marketing support, and opportunities for advancement in a positive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed manicurist or cosmetologist in good standing.
• Experience delivering manicures and pedicures preferred.
• Willing to participate in continuing education and training.

• Compensation Structure:
  • Three clear experience levels with opportunities for advancement
    • Junior Technician: $24.50 - $28.60 per hour (with bonuses and tips)
    • Senior Technician: $26.40 - $33.85 per hour (with bonuses and tips)
    • Master Technician: $29.00 - $39.13 per hour (with bonuses and tips)
  • Paid, on-the-job training to excel through the levels
  • Team and individual performance bonuses.
  • Base pay even when not booked with appointments.
  • $1,000 - $2,000 in tips that are 100% yours to keep!

Our Schedule

Our salon hours are 10am - 6pm/7pm depending on the day

• Greets customers with a smile and friendly conversation while assisting them
• Provides exceptional manicures and pedicures
• Educates guests on the membership program, retail products, and rebooking
• Helps maintain our professional-grade cleaning standards
• Uses skills and knowledge to contribute to Frenchies' monthly team goals
• Brings good vibes to studio staff and clientele

• Licensed manicurist or cosmetologist - if you don't have this, check out SBCC in Santa Barbara or Lu Ross in Ventura.
