Phila Non-toxic Hair & Nail Spa is seeking a motivated Hair Stylist and/or Nail Technician to join our growing team. This commission-based position rewards building your own clientele and increasing income while delivering top-tier hair and nail services in a welcoming salon.

You will cut, style, color, and extend hair services and perform manicures, gel manicures, builder gel, Gel-X, and poly gel applications. Build a loyal clientele and upsell products in a supportive team environment.

Formación

• Cosmetology license or nail technician license required where applicable.
• Strong skill in hair and/or structured gel nail systems and applications.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build and retain clientele.

Responsabilidades

Hair Stylist and/or Nail Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and talented Hair Stylist and/or Nail Technician with a strong client-focused, entrepreneurial mindset to join our growing team. This is a commission-based position designed for professionals who are passionate about building their own clientele, increasing their income, and delivering exceptional service.

In this role, you will combine skill, creativity, and customer care to provide high-quality hair and nail services while creating a welcoming and professional experience for every client. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, reliable, and excited to grow within a team environment.

Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, highlighting, and extensions based on client needs.
• Perform nail services including manicures, gel manicures, builder gel, Gel-X, and poly gel applications (no acrylic).
• Build and maintain a loyal clientele through consistent, high-quality service and professionalism.
• Consult with clients to understand their goals and recommend services and products.
• Promote your services and actively grow your personal book of business.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation at all times.
• Stay current with trends, techniques, and industry standards in hair and nail services.
• Recommend and sell retail products to support client results and increase revenue.

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or nail technician license (as required).
• Strong skills in hair services and/or structured gel nail systems (builder gel, Gel-X, poly gel).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build and retain clientele.
• Confidence in upselling services and retail products.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety protocols.

Commission Structure

This is a tiered commission-based position that rewards performance and growth:

• 40% commission – Entry level or building clientele
• 45% commission – Established performance and consistent bookings
• 50% commission – High-performing professionals with strong clientele and retention

Commission tier is based on performance, productivity, and client retention.
