Qualifications

• Aveda product knowledge or formal training required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in nail services or related field.
• Knowledge of Iowa sanitation regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service for manicure and pedicure treatments.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation; ensure supplies are stocked.
• Assist with scheduling, product education, and guest consultations.

Riverside is looking for a Nail Technician whom exceeds guest expectations in providing manicure/ pedicure services. They must have latest knowledge of related field techniques & Iowa sanitation regulations along with excellent communication skills while interacting with a wide range of clientele.The Nail Technician will maximize service skills and product sales within an Aveda Environmental Lifestyle Salon and Spa!

Essential Functions

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• High standard of cleanliness and sanitation; adhere to all guidelines; maintain supplies.
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings “Huddles”.
• Good time management skills are needed to maximize scheduling framework.
• Must be dependable, punctual, fun, energetic and courteous professional.
• Passionate outgoing personality who enjoys working with the public.
• Perform guest consultation and post treatment recommendations with ability to educate guests on products and home regimens.
• Creative thinker and team player who is able to cross train and assist with phone sales, tours, service scheduling or other Resort duties.
• Desire to learn and develop skills through ongoing training programs.
• Must keep state certification current and in good standing.

Required

• Aveda Product Knowledge/Training.
• Minimum 1 year experience.

Schedule

Full time or Part time to include: Days, Weekends & Holidays

$14/hr + Commission (including premium pay) with 20 hours of Paid Time Off upon hire
