Job summary

Interstate All Battery Center is seeking a NAC Delivery Specialist to deliver batteries and provide exceptional service to National Account customers on a defined route. You will load and unload trucks, maintain accurate inventory, and keep displays clean and rotated per agreements.

You will interact with customers and colleagues, manage dealer accounts including sales and invoicing, and complete paperwork promptly while adhering to driver program requirements.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Experience in customer service is required.
• Must have working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools (tablets, scanners).
• Must have a clean driver record and meet driver qualifications; DOT medical card required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver batteries and provide service to National Account customers on your route.
• Load/unload trucks safely and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Keep displays clean and rotated per National Account agreements.
• Manage a dealer account (sales, consignment, warranties, cash collection, invoicing).
• Complete delivery/route paperwork in a timely manner.
• Interact professionally with team members, managers and customers.
• Follow driver program requirements.
• May perform battery delivery/service to non-National accounts.

Join us!Purpose of Job:The NAC Delivery Specialist delivers batteries and provides exceptional customer service to National Account customers and dealers within their territory.Job Components:Deliver batteries and provide service to each National Account customer on your route in a safe and timely manner.Load and unload trucks safely and maintain an accurate account of all company assets.Keep displays and product clean, full, and rotated per National Account agreement.Accountable for managing a dealer account, including but not limited to: sales, consignment, warranties, rotates, cash collection, and invoicing.Complete delivery/route transactions and other paperwork on a timely basis.Interact professionally with all stakeholders, including team members, managers, and customers.Follow / fulfill all driver program requirements, as specified by the manager.Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse.Other duties as assigned, including battery delivery and service to non-National account customers.Qualifications:High school graduate (or equivalent).Able to read, write, and compute basic math.Excellent communication skills required.Minimum of one year of customer service experience required.Previous delivery driving experience preferred.Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools is required (tablets, scanners).Demonstrates good organizational skills and can prioritize tasks.Works with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Approaches tasks with a sense of urgency.Able to work overtime if requested.
