Job summary

Oxoid Remel Microbiology, acquired from Thermo Fisher Scientific, is seeking a Sr. Manager, North America Planning and Supply Chain to lead end-to-end planning and logistics across the region.

Based in Lenexa, KS, you will direct demand forecasting, supply and production plans, inbound/outbound logistics, and cross-functional collaboration to grow the business. The role requires 10+ years in supply chain with strong SAP experience, and a track record of building weekly production plans with

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management with leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of demand planning, supply planning, materials planning, order management, and distribution processes.
• Proven track record in manufacturing / production planning and MRP processes.
• Experience building weekly production plans and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Strong SAP capability and knowledge of planning master data, orders, inventory, and production execution.
• Experience with S&OP and driving process improvements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Life sciences or related industry experience is a plus.
• APICS certification (CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages all supply chain functions within North America.
• Develops and implements accurate demand forecasts to optimize inventory.
• Develops supply plans (RCCP, mid-term capacity, weekly schedules, production plans).
• Leads strategic sourcing and supplier relationships for materials and services.
• Coordinates inventory control, production planning, and material flow.
• Oversees warehouse operations, logistics, and transportation.
• Manages the supply chain budget and drives cost efficiency.
• Collaborates with Production, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to optimize stock.
• Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing supply chain team.
• Ensures regulatory and industry standard compliance.
