Job summary

Amazon seeks a Principal Finance Manager to join the North America Stores FP&A team. You will partner with business finance to illuminate drivers of plans and present cogent narratives to Amazon Stores leadership.

Responsibilities include owning planning processes, performing deep-dive analyses, and leveraging BI systems to inform executive decisions while driving efficiency through AI in finance workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of spearheading strategic cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable financial results and advance organizational objectives experience.
• 8+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning for North America Stores and develop forward-looking stories for senior leadership.
• Deliver insightful analyses and narratives to Amazon’s executive team.
• Leverage Cognos/TM1, Apliqo, and other financial systems for deep-dive analysis and summary reports.
• Collaborate with business finance teams to ensure timely financial deliverables.
• Drive efficiencies using AI across FP&A processes.
