Salary Range: $16.00 - $23.00

Department Details: Monday through Friday, rotating days. No weekends or holidays.

Job Summary: The Nursing Assistant (NA) assists nursing personnel with patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for patients' personal needs and comfort in the outpatient setting. Performs under supervision of RN or LPN. Assists with clinical duties as delegated, including taking vital signs, maintaining stock of medical supplies, and recording health information. Provides basic health care needs, assists with patient rooming, and collects biological specimens. Performs clerical work related to scheduling and documentation. Prepares treatment areas, cleans equipment, and disposes biomedical waste.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum six months' experience preferred, especially in a clinical setting. CNA certification preferred. Must maintain required competencies and certifications. In North Dakota, non-CNA staff must be on the Nurse Aide Registry within four months of employment.
