Schonfeld seeks a senior risk manager to oversee North American discretionary equity portfolios, bridging risk concerns with PMs and senior management. You will set risk budgets, analyze drawdowns, and surface forward-looking stress views using multi-factor equity models and R/Python tooling.

You will engage with investment teams to improve analytics, explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and drive informed capital allocation decisions within a hedge fund context.

Formación

• Degree in statistics/econometrics, mathematics or financial engineering.
• 5-10 years of buyside risk management experience.
• Prior experience with discretionary equity strategies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Deep knowledge of equity multi-factor models and applications.
• Proficiency with R and Python.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee North American discretionary equity portfolios daily.
• Monitor style drift and concentration risks; remediate issues.
• Research risk and portfolio construction inquiries for investment teams.
• Analyze performance attribution to diagnose problems quickly.
• Engage with PMs to communicate risk/reward dynamics and budgets.
• Contribute to enhancements of proprietary analytics and risk outputs.
