As a Bartender, a typical day might include the following:
- Greeting guests with a welcoming smile providing them with fast, friendly service
- Accurately taking the guest's drink order and preparing in accordance with company recipe before presenting to guests
- Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all necessary guidelines
- Ensuring consistency by following company recipes and standards
- Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner
- Working well with others as you will be working with other bartenders, servers, bar backs, and management
- Remembering guest's names and utilizing them when appropriate
- Building guest loyalty and a regular clientele
- Sharing weekly events and future events
- Resolving service problems with empathy and according to company guidelines
- Maintaining a clean and stocked work environment
- Arranging bottles and glassware to maintain an attractive display
- Other duties as assigned
This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage and/or club environment required
- Must have evening and full weekend availability
- TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification a plus and will be required if chosen for the position
- Must be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements in regards to legal background check
- Must have the ability to complete the process for the Massachusetts State Gaming Commission license prior to starting
- You present a neat and professional appearance
- Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workers
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members
- Ability to accurately count money and provide necessary change
