The Clinical Sales Consultant will have responsibility for:

  • Representing the organization by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects in order to consult on implementation of and sell the organization's ACUVUE Brand Contact Lenses.
  • Providing expert clinical, fitting, in-office support and training to Eye Care Professionals and their office staff regarding all aspects of the company’s products, services, and technologies.
  • Clearly articulating features and benefits of the company’s novel approach in-office vs. other manufacturers, including its products, services, and technologies.
  • Maintaining advanced clinical knowledge of new and growing eye health disease states, advancements in science and evidence in this emerging category, and the business landscape.
  • Creating awareness of solutions, conducting sales presentations as Subject Matter Expert (SME), and introducing products and services in the market to Eye Care Professionals.
  • Regularly leading others in cases support strategy, modeling best practice consultative selling techniques.
  • Regularly targeting and engaging customers who are interested to leverage the company’s portfolio.
  • Mentoring team members and others on methods to remain objective and to capitalize on evolving circumstances.
  • Analyzing data and preparing reports and presentations as needed.
  • Demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and ownership of your territory.
  • Delivering business results, taking the initiative, and persevering to overcome challenges.
  • Demonstrating Johnson & Johnson Credo values and a role model of health care compliance, including HIPPA and privacy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four (4) years of professional sales experience is required.
  • Healthcare industry experience, specifically in Optometry or Optical Tech is preferred.
  • Hands-on consultative sales and/or account management experience is required.
  • The ability to travel as needed, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
  • The ability to lift up to thirty (30) lbs. periodically.
  • Residence in or within close proximity to the geography.
