Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a gardener to maintain planting areas at Naval Base Coronado, performing seasonal tasks and applying chemicals per environmental instructions.
The role requires knowledge of gardening procedures, plant care, and the ability to assess weather and soil conditions to schedule work. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 40 lbs are expected.

This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC); Picnic Park, Q-Zone, Naval Base Coronado. Incumbent Performs seasonal gardening tasks such as fertilizing, preparing seedbeds, transplanting, laying sod, aerating, pruning, trimming, and applying chemicals to plants according to seasonal schedules or project plans for assigned area and in consonance with environmental instructions.
