Operates a limited service bar such as portable bars for private parties and banquets. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, receives and records payment at time of sale, and maintains inventory of stock. Ensures bar is in a presentable and sanitary condition. Performs other related duties as required. Must meet minimum age requirement.
Knowledge and Skills: Ability to mix and serve beverages with limited varieties of liquor, soda, beer, and wine. Knowledge of proper proportions and mixtures. Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and handle situations appropriately. Ability to collect and reconcile tabs with dispensed items.
Requirements: Must pass E-Verify, meet federal suitability, and state age requirements for alcohol service. Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. May need to obtain Food Handlers and/or C.A.R.E certification within 90 days. Physical ability to lift and carry objects as specified.
Qualifications: Ability to recognize shortages of supplies and replace them. Skill in preparing garnishes. Ability to serve non-mixed drinks under supervision.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
