Job summary

EnableComp is seeking a Revenue Specialist, First Party Auto to investigate Motor Vehicle Accident accounts and coordinate insurance benefits while resolving balances for clients. The role handles PHI with strict privacy and security, and collaborates with patients and carriers until claims are resolved.

The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare billing/collections and MVA claims, strong computer skills and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in healthcare billing or collections.
• 1+ years' experience with MVA claim resolution preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing for MVA and auto claims.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct online research of MVA claim payments using EnableComp's software and tools.
• Review medical records and EOBs; submit hospital claims to insurers for prompt reimbursement.
• Follow up with payers to update claim systems and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare MVA billing packets with all necessary documentation for submission.
• Communicate with patients or adjusters about claim status and resolution probability.
• Review payer EOBs to determine actions after auto claim resolution.
• Other duties as required.
