We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to the highest ethical standards for the following position:

Lab Tech I

Purpose:
The Laboratory Technician I performs laboratory analytical tests on raw materials and finished products following established parameters (policies, FDA, cGMP) and applicable regulations, without impacting the manufacturing cycle or laboratory workflow. This role must comply with all security guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations, and current Good Laboratory (cGLP) and Good Manufacturing (cGMP) Practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory analytical tests on raw materials and finished products following established parameters and regulations.
  • Ensure tests and analyses are accurately documented.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment as applicable.
  • Prepare presentations, such as Invalid Test Investigations.
  • Ensure samples are collected, tested, and authorized according to schedule and procedures.
  • Resolve typical technical problems with minimal supervision.
  • Complete required training and certifications on time.
  • Participate actively in training new employees.
  • Coordinate and distribute tasks when required.
  • Assist operations while adhering to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies, promoting continuous improvement, incident reporting, PPE use, waste management, and disposal.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Science required; major in Chemistry preferred.
  • No prior experience required; basic knowledge of laboratory techniques.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and third shift.
  • Shift options include Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday; rotation, weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required.
