Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. seeks a Licensed Electrician with medium/high voltage experience for a life sciences pharmaceutical/laboratory industrial setting operating 24x7, 365 days.

The role focuses on safe operation and maintenance of MV/HV distribution, switchgear, transformers, and related equipment. Responsibilities include MV/HV switching, load transfer from utility to site generators, scada system familiarity, regulatory record keeping, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Journeyman or Master Electrician license in Pennsylvania.
• 5+ years as industrial/commercial electrician, including MV/HV.
• Experience with 480V 3-phase and MV/HV distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain emergency generators (tier 1–4).
• Perform annual load bank testing and routine tests.
• Maintain MV/HV distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, and feeders.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical circuits in office, lab, and industrial areas.
• Read diagrams, update docs, and use CMMS for work orders.
