Job summary

Citi in Boston, MA is seeking a Fund Accounting professional to prepare tax provisions for registered investment companies and assist with year-end reporting for Form 1099-DIV. You will support audits, test asset diversification, and ensure compliance with internal controls while delivering high-quality service to internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related area or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare income and excise tax provisions and estimates for RICs.
• Prepare asset diversification and gross income qualification tests for RICs.
• Prepare year end shareholder reporting calculations to provide to transfer agents for production of Form 1099-DIV.
• Assist with audits and provide support as necessary.
• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of mutual funds and financial markets.
• Respond proactively to internal and external client inquiries.
• Complete training sessions to increase industry knowledge.
• Work on special projects, other regulatory filings and ad hoc requests as assigned.

Qualifications
