Job Opening: Mutual Fund Product Specialist

We are seeking a Mutual Fund Product Specialist to:

1. Operate as a mutual fund and money market fund trading and product subject matter expert for the Advisory Sales Desk, Program teams, Service Group, CIO, Advanced Planning, and other UBS teams as needed.
2. Collaborate with internal partners, fund companies, and the field to resolve trading issues, address operational challenges, and maintain eligibility files.
3. Support over 450 mutual fund providers and work with Legal to streamline the creation, negotiation, execution, compliance, storage, and renewal of mutual fund contracts.
4. Develop and maintain marketing, disclosure, training, and educational materials to support the mutual and money fund businesses, including content for internal and public websites.
5. Identify opportunities to promote product awareness among Financial Advisors and clients, and explore new product offerings with fund partners.
6. Build partnerships across the firm to develop extensive knowledge of platforms and product offerings, both traditional and non-traditional.
7. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting products, liaising with Public Policy Office and SIFMA committees to analyze and implement changes at UBS.

Location & Reporting

This role is based in the Investment Products Group within UBS Wealth Management Americas, located in Weehawken, New Jersey. You will report to the Lead Program Manager of Mutual Funds.

Candidate Requirements

1. Ideally 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
2. Knowledge of mutual funds and money market funds or related experience in investment product management.
3. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
4. Strong project management, communication, and writing skills.
5. Experience in risk management and process improvement is preferred.
6. Proven ability in complex problem solving and thriving in fast-paced environments.
7. Series 7 and 66 licenses are preferred; a bachelor’s degree is required.
