Job summary

Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, CA, is seeking a worship team member to contribute musically to weekly services. You will rehearse, lead in worship, read charts, and follow direction from the Worship Director.

Applicants should be active church members, committed to faith, reliable, and a team player, 18+. Compensation is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one instrument or vocal part is required.
• Ability to read basic chord charts or sheet music is required.
• Active member or regular attendee of the church is required.
• Commitment to a lifestyle consistent with the church's statement of faith is required.
• Teachable spirit and willingness to receive musical and spiritual direction are required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Basic knowledge of contemporary Christian worship music is required.
• Prior church worship experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with in-ear monitor systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend and actively participate in all scheduled rehearsals and worship services.
• Play assigned instrument(s) or sing as part of the worship team.
• Learn and prepare weekly set lists provided by the Worship Director or team leader.
• Maintain punctuality and a spirit of cooperation with fellow team members.
• Follow the musical direction of the Worship Leader during services.
• Assist with basic setup and breakdown of equipment as needed.
• Participate in team devotions and prayer before services.
• Communicate promptly regarding scheduling conflicts or absences.

Harvest began humbly as a Bible study led by a young Greg Laurie during the Jesus People movement of the late 1960s. Today, with a weekly attendance of over 9,000 people, Harvest remains committed to biblical teaching, authentic worship, and meaningful fellowship. In 1990, Pastor Greg launched the Harvest Crusades, a large‑scale evangelistic event that has reached millions with the Gospel.
