Responsibilities

• Working with the Artistic Director to ensure lighting, sound and set capabilities match the requirements of the musical
• Following standards set by the Artistic Director, holding auditions for the crew and providing training for all student members
• Managing all aspects of the crew
• Writing and programming all lighting cues as required
• Obtaining all training necessary to be able to operate the lighting and sound equipment
• Charging and setting up all microphones for rehearsals and public performances
• Overseeing all student work on lighting and sound during rehearsals and public performances
• Coordinating timing and stage cues for all actors, organizing backstage crew and sound/lighting crew
• Perform all costume fitting, sizing, makeup and accessorizing for all stage performers
• Give all costume requirements to the artistic director so an accurate order may be made and received in time for dress rehearsals
