Edina Public Schools in Edina, MN, seeks a Musical Director for Edina High School to lead the pit orchestra for the upcoming season.

Position is temporary/seasonal through October 30, 2026; stipend of $5,205 with benefits as required by law. Duties include assembling, rehearsing, and executing the student pit orchestra, leading rehearsals, coordinating with the tech team, and recruiting students when needed.

Position Duties

Assemble, rehearse and execute the student pit orchestra. Lead pit rehearsals, and then join the tech process of the musical. Reassemble parts as needed and ensure all students can participate and recruit students when needed. Set up the pit equipment in collaboration with the tech team.

Compensation and Benefits

The 2026-2027seasonal stipend for this position is $5,205.00. Benefits offered as required by law.
