Position Information
The Conservatory of Music at the University of the Pacific invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track position as a Music Therapy Supervisor/Visiting Lecturer. This role involves teaching, supervising students, and contributing to curriculum development within the department.
- Provide instruction for 2-20 hours per week, depending on course load.
- Design and conduct educational programs, supervise student fieldwork, and teach courses according to university policies.
- Participate in program planning, evaluation, and improvement efforts.
- Advise students academically and support their progress.
- Participate in faculty and administrative evaluations and contribute to departmental service and research activities.
- Undergraduate degree in music therapy and one year of clinical experience; or equivalent in part-time work.
- Master's degree or higher in the field for classroom teaching; candidates without a master's must demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Experience teaching at the college level.
Work involves sitting, standing, bending, and occasional walking in classroom or clinical settings, with 2-20 hours of work per week.
$51.00/hour, considering experience and responsibilities.
