Allay Hospice is seeking a compassionate Music Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team in Wisconsin. You will provide comfort and dignity to patients through music therapy, creating individualized treatment plans and collaborating with team members.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's in music therapy, Board certification, and ideally two years of clinical experience. The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical and dental insurance and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music therapy from an AMTA-approved program required.
• Board-certified (MT-BC) by CBMT necessary.
• Preferred: 2 years of clinical music therapy experience.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients' functional status and music preferences.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to meet goals.
• Deliver music therapy using instruments, singing, and movement.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and update care team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ functional status, music and responses, and preferences
• Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients meet goals
• Deliver music therapy using instruments, singing, movement, and listening
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly and update care team
• Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff on treatment plans

Qualifications
