Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music/Music Therapy required.
• MT-BC Certification required.
• Valid driver\'s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide education to caregivers and individuals.
• Develop and implement music therapy strategies based on person centered objectives.
• Maintain billable criteria.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Comply with all standards to assure health and safety of clients.
• Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
• Implement age-appropriate engaging activities.
• Complete documentation per state and federal regulations.
• Collect data to document progress of prioritized objectives for each individual served.
• Participate in Individual Support Plan or Person Centered Plan for client served.
• Attend departmental meetings.
