Our Step One Early Intervention program is a family-centered, community-based initiative that partners with families to understand and meet the individual needs of children. Step One supports the relationship between young children and their families. We provide educational and therapeutic services to children from birth to three years with special needs, along with support and education to their families. The Music Therapist provides assessment, consultation, and home-based therapy services.

Our interdisciplinary team of professionals provides:

  • Developmental assessments
  • Home-based services to young children and their families
  • Consultative services to staff of other disciplines and families
  • Developmental, therapeutic group services for infants, toddlers, and families
  • Consultation and collaboration with community and medical providers such as childcare professionals and pediatricians
