Undergraduate students must enroll in at least six Fall/Spring units, while graduate students must enroll in at least four Fall/Spring units.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, point of sale, event staffing.
  • Basic familiarity with musical ensembles.
  • Experience with audio/video recording and production.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and preparing classrooms in the music department for ensemble rehearsals and other classes.
  • Staffing events, including setup/stagehand duties, ushering, box office sales, and supervision of events in Snider Recital Hall.
  • Live sound reinforcement, lighting operation, and recording/streaming of audio and video for events in Snider Recital Hall (upon qualification).
  • Post-production of audio and video from Snider Recital Hall for delivery to other departments and/or the music department archive (upon qualification).
  • Assist the department technician with management of equipment inventory and music library.

Position Summary

Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in the Music department.

Start Date

Positionavailable on or after November 1, 2026and ending on or before May 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

Job Description/Duties
  • Setting up and preparing classrooms in the music department for ensemble rehearsals and other classes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
Salary Range

$16.90per hour.
