Pay Rate: $15.00/hr - $16.20/hr Non-Teaching Rate and up to $23.60/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.

As an Instructor, you will teach music lessons according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, increase student numbers, and ensure each student’s growth and enjoyment in music, all while embodying our culture of integrity, inclusion, passion, and respect.

  • Musical Passion: Ability to motivate students and share your passion for music.
  • Student Focused: Understanding students’ needs and providing excellent experiences. Approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, and committed.

  • Interpersonal Communication: Clear, positive, and courteous communication with diverse individuals at all levels.

As our Instructor, you will:

  • Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
  • Communicate progress with students or parents as applicable.
  • Assist with customer service to maintain long-term student relationships.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Music, Education, or related field, or a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Ability to pass Guitar Center-specific training and certifications.
  • Proficiency in teaching areas such as Drums, Guitar, or Keyboard.
