The first Music & Arts was located in Bethesda, MD, and run by founder Benjamin O'Brien. Since opening in 1952, we have expanded nationwide through growth and acquisitions. In 2005, we joined forces with American Music to become the largest band and orchestra retailer in the U.S. Now based in Frederick, MD, we are part of the Guitar Center enterprise, with over 225 retail stores, 200 educational representatives, and 250 affiliate locations.
Enjoy benefits like pay rate: $15.49/hr Non-Teaching Rate + $11-22/hr Teaching Rate based on background and experience. We offer gig leave for musicians, robust benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with match, mental health support, paid sick/holiday/vacation, employee discounts, and tuition reimbursement.
