This position may be either part-time or full-time depending on the candidate's availability and experience. The ideal candidate will foster a love of music while supporting the mission of Catholic education through engaging instruction, creativity, and positive relationships with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Teach general music classes to elementary and/or middle school students
• Prepare students for school performances, liturgies, and special events
• Incorporate music appreciation, vocal instruction, rhythm, movement, and basic music theory into lessons
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support school programs and activities
• Create a positive, organized, and faith-centered classroom environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field preferred
• Teaching license preferred but not required
• Practicing Catholic preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff
