East Harlem Scholars Academies, operated by East Harlem Tutorial Program, seeks a Music Teacher for Grades PreK–7. You will collaborate with the instructional leadership team to develop and deliver curriculum, track student progress, and foster a positive classroom culture.

• Experience teaching Music at elementary level or higher.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and NYS certification preferred.
• Commitment to ethical and professional standards.
• Interest in anti-racist pedagogy and research-based practices.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.

Responsabilités

• Lead high-quality music instruction and support curriculum development with the department.
• Collaborate with instructional leadership to internalize and create curriculum.
• Track student progress and contribute to classroom culture and reflection.
• Serve as a class advisor or mentor to students as they progress to high school.
• Contribute to the team’s goals to promote equity and student success.
