Saint Dominic Academy seeks a passionate music teacher to plan and implement engaging music instruction within a Catholic learning environment. The teacher will observe student progress, maintain detailed records, monitor behavior, and communicate with parents to support growth.

The ideal candidate is a practicing Roman Catholic with a relevant certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Music, or an equivalent field.

Qualifications

• Maine Certification (020) in Elementary Education or eligibility.
• PreK-12 Music Teacher (614) certification can qualify.
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Music or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Teach music to students in a Catholic school environment.
• Plan, organize, and implement the music instructional program.
• Observe and assess student progress, keep records, and communicate with parents.
