Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, aiming to increase student count while ensuring growth and enjoyment. We foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in music or education and can teach instruments they are proficient in. They will partner with the Lessons Lead to schedule students and support a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in music, education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.).
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in their teaching area.

Responsibilities

• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on the needs of the community.
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.
