Leading Note Studios - Part-Time Music Teacher

Leading Note Studios has a fun, positive, happy vibe, and we're hiring a Part-Time Music Teacher to join a chill work family that cares about you. You will teach 18 - 30 hours a week, with a starting pay of $21/hour. You must be able to teach music theory and read music.

Responsibilities:

• Introduce music techniques, scales, sight-reading, note reading, rhythm, metronome practice, and ensemble performance
• Teach music theory, composition, and performance techniques
• Prepare students for auditions, live performances, recitals, college applications, and a lifelong engagement with music

Requirements:

• Love of children and passion for singing
• College-level musical education
• Ability to pass a background check
• Basic understanding of Primer-level piano

Compensation:

$21.00 - $28.00 per hour
