Role Mission: IDEA Electives teachers instruct students in grades 6-12 in a variety of subjects. Each IDEA campus offers electives such as ACT Prep Skills, Art, AVID, Band, Music, Technical Writing, Theatre Arts, or AP Psychology. Teachers are responsible for ensuring students master academic and social skills necessary for college success, embody IDEA’s values daily, set ambitious achievement goals, create a positive learning environment, plan and deliver rigorous instruction, assess mastery, track progress, analyze data for intervention, and strive for excellence as educators and team members.
