Guitar Center in Towson, MD is seeking a Music Teacher to teach lessons according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, helping students grow and enjoy playing music while upholding our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

You will work to increase student headcount, partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule lessons, and ensure a welcoming, student‑centered experience for families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (e.g., Guitar, Keyboard).
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons according to Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Increase student headcount and ensure students grow and enjoy playing music.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience.
• Communicate with students and/or parents on progress of each student.
