Job summary

Guitar Center in Anchorage is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, helping each student grow, develop, and enjoy playing music while upholding our culture of integrity, inclusion, and respect.

You will partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs, and you may teach instruments such as drums, guitar, or keyboard while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in such as drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.
• Demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Increase student count and ensure each student grows and enjoys playing music.
• Nurture a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
• Assist with customer service to help build long-term students.
