Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Music Teacher to provide lessons in line with the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to grow the student base and ensure every student develops, enjoys playing music, and contributes to our inclusive store culture.

You will teach the instrument you are proficient in (e.g., drums, guitar, keyboard) and collaborate with the Lessons Lead to schedule and retain students, while delivering excellent customer service and adapting to each learner's goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Increase student headcount and ensure students continue to grow and enjoy playing music.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students.
• Additional duties as assigned.
