Bentley School is seeking a passionate Instrumental Music Teacher to foster musical talents and promote a love for performance among middle and high school students. The teacher will develop classes and curriculum for grades 6 through 12, collaborating with colleagues while contributing positively to the school environment. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's in Music, have previous teaching experience, and excel in student engagement and innovative teaching methodologies.

Established in 1920, Bentley School is a K-12 co-educational, independent day school located on two campuses in Oakland (K-8) and Lafayette (9-12), California. Bentley seeks an Instrumental Music Teacher for the middle and high school programs, primarily located on our 9-12 Lafayette Campus, but will need to be able to travel to our K-8 Oakland Campus.

Pay Range:
Bentley uses a competitive salary scale, which takes into account experience, education, and skill level. The salary scale for this position ranges from $71,611 for teachers with no prior teaching experience to $140,000 for teachers with over 40 years of prior experience.
